Natural Variations: All gemstones sold on ceylongemempire.com are natural, earth-mined stones (primarily originating from Sri Lanka/Ceylon) unless explicitly stated otherwise (e.g., lab-created or treated). Natural stones inherently display unique inclusions, color zoning, and minor variations that make each piece one-of-a-kind.
Photography & Display: We make every effort to display our gemstones, colors, and carat weights as accurately as possible. However, because screen displays and lighting conditions vary, minor visual discrepancies may occur.
Gemological Certifications: Where applicable, stones are accompanied by independent laboratory certificates (e.g., GIA, GRS, CGL). Certificate details represent the findings of the issuing laboratory at the time of testing.

3. Pricing and Payments

Currency & Pricing: All prices listed on ceylongemempire.com are denoted in USD (or local equivalent where configured) and are subject to change without notice.
Taxes, Duties & Custom Fees: International orders may be subject to import duties, value-added taxes (VAT), or customs clearance fees levied by the destination country. These charges are the sole responsibility of the customer.
Payment Processing: Since we utilize standard free WooCommerce tools, payments may be processed securely through supported gateways or accepted via direct bank wire transfer. Orders paid via bank wire will only be dispatched once funds have fully cleared in our account.

4. Shipping, Delivery & Risk of Loss

Dispatch: Orders are processed and shipped securely from our Sri Lankan facility using trackable international couriers (such as FedEx, UPS, or DHL) equipped with transit insurance.
Risk of Loss: Title and risk of loss for all items pass to you upon delivery of the package to the carrier or upon successful delivery confirmation to your provided shipping address. Signature confirmation is mandatory for all high-value gemstone shipments.
Delays: While we make every effort to dispatch orders promptly, Ceylon Gem Empire is not liable for international customs processing delays, carrier disruptions, or force majeure events.

5. Returns, Refunds, and Inspections

All returns and refunds are governed strictly by our Refund and Returns Policy, which requires a 7-day inspection window, unbroken tamper-evident security tags, and prior authorization (RMA). Custom-cut stones and set jewelry are final sale.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ceylon Gem Empire, its directors, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or the purchase of any products, exceeding the total amount paid by you for the specific item in question.
